There is a significant difference between forgiveness and repentance. Forgiveness is something we ask of
others, repentance is what God is asking of us.
“in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may
know the truth,” (2 Timothy 2:25)
Getting offended happens in just a moment. Staying offended just happens to get your future moments.
“And Blessed is He who is not offended because of ME.” (Matthew 11:6)
Meekness is not weakness, but power under complete control.
“Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the
meekness of wisdom.” (James 3:13)
If we believe God can solve the situations we face, there is no need to worry. If we believe He can’t, there is no
use in worrying.
Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? (Matthew 6:27)
Significant life begins when we step from self-preservation into selfless compassion.
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. (Luke
10:33)
