Life presents us with many good ideas.  It is our responsibility to find God’s purpose for our life, and complete it.
Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “…I have glorified You on the earth.  I have
finished the work which You have given Me to do.”  (John 17:1a &4)

Freedom without the “bonds” of responsible character is anarchy.
For you have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve
one another. (Galatians 5:13)

Godly humility is aligning our thoughts, words and actions with what God says about us, regardless of our
personal feelings, present circumstances or the opinions of other people.
“No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of
many nations.” (Genesis 17:5)

Weakness need not be anything more than a state in which we allow God to fill us.
“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you; for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’  Therefore most
gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”  (2 Cor. 12:9)

With prosperity comes the temptation to pay for solutions rather than pray for them.
“And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish
His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” (Deuteronomy 8:18)
