| Prayer for Wisdom |
Dear God,
I believe that wisdom is the principal thing; necessary for me to live a righteous and successful life.
I ask You for wisdom and seek understanding according to Your Word. Jesus [The Word] is made
unto me wisdom, and through Him I will have understanding, knowledge and wisdom to accomplish all
the good things for which You have created me.
I will have wisdom and understanding in times of trouble that will deliver me from harm. I will have
Your insight in situations and circumstances that will cause me to choose the right way to go, and the
right things to say and do.
teach me anything I need to know, when I ask in faith. I believe You, Lord, and I will listen intently for
Your wisdom, and seek understanding through Your Word. The Wisdom You give me is pure, then
peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without
hypocrisy.
As I apply Your wisdom I have a long, sound, and healthy life, full of respect and prosperity. Thank
You, Father, that through Jesus, you are opening to me the treasures of Your wisdom and knowledge
for every area of my life.
