Sovereign Father,
I put on the whole armor of God, that I may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. I choose to
dwell in the secret place of the Most High. I abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I say of You,
Lord, "You are my refuge and my fortress; my God, in You I will trust." Because I have made that
choice, I thank you that it is a sure thing that You shall deliver me from the snare of the one who
feathers. Under Your wings I take refuge. Your truth is my shield and buckler. I will not be afraid of
the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor
of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at
my right hand but it shall not come near me. Only with my eyes shall I look, and see the reward of the
wicked. Because I have made You, the Lord Who is My refuge, even the Most High my dwelling place,
no evil shall befall me, nor shall any plague come near my dwelling; for You shall give Your angels
charge over me to keep me in all my ways. In their hands they shall bear me up lest I dash my foot
against a stone. I tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent I trample
underfoot. I thank You that because I have set my love upon you, You will deliver me; You will set me
on high because I know Your Name. I call upon You, and you answer me; You are with me in trouble;
You deliver me and honor me. With long life you satisfy me, and show me Your salvation.
According to Isaiah 54:14-17; I thank You that I am established in righteousness; I am far from
oppression , for I shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near me. They shall surely
assemble, but not because of You. Whoever assembles against me shall fall for my sake. I am
paying attention to You, Father, that You have created the blacksmith who blows the coals in the fire,
who brings forth an instrument for his work; and you have created (and defeated) the spoiler who
destroys so that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me
in judgment I shall condemn. This is my heritage as a servant of the Lord, and my righteousness is
from You, for You have said it, and You are the Lord. You are absolute Dominion and Supreme
Authority.
