Do you have any idea how wonderful you are?  God says you are fearfully and wonderfully made. He is very good at making
things and He makes them very good (see Gen. 1:27-31a).  He created your physical body, your soul and, when you accepted
Jesus as Savior and received forgiveness for your sin, your spirit was reborn, and you were re-created, even better! Praise God! If
anyone has told you differently they didn’t hear that from God.

Now we know you may be thinking that we must be wrong, because of all the mistakes you have made.  We didn’t say you were
perfect, only that you are being perfected in Him.  Even in the best Thanksgiving dinner the turkey has bones, the potatoes have
eyes, and the gravy may have a lump or two.  It is a wonderfully satisfying meal even with the imperfections.  You, too, are
wonderfully satisfying to know, even if you aren’t perfect . . . yet. (see 2 Cor. 3:17 & 18)

When Jesus went to Calvary, He could have paid the price for our sins and nothing more.  But he didn’t stop there.  Before He
went to the Cross, He told us what He was going to do at the Last Supper: “…and when He had given thanks, He broke it (the
bread) and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me’ ” (1 Cor. 11:24).  He was
broken so we can be whole and sound.  Wholeness and soundness means more than just physical healing.  As we continue in
God’s way of doing things, everything; spirit, soul, body, relationships, finances; EVERYTHING in our lives must be restored to
His originally intended condition.  We need to stop identifying with the old “broken man”, and start seeing ourselves as He sees
us, “the righteousness of God in Him (Christ Jesus)”.  (Col.3:9&10; 2Cor. 5:21)

He certainly has given us enormous amount for which to be thankful.  Speaking of thankful, we want you to know that we highly
prize the gift we have to pray, write, and minister to you every month.  Thank you for allowing us to be your partner in GEMinistries:
Christian Cultural Arts Outreach.
