Exhibit the Love of God
Sects have fostered dozens of translations of Holy Scripture. With this flowering diversity comes the occasion to re-define the
words found in the Word to “rediscover” the original power and dominion expressed by God through men.
Psalm95:3 [KJV] states: “For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods.”
1] Lord is defined as supreme authority.
2] The one and only true God is defined as Unconditional Love.
3] King is defined as “The authority” over the way of doing things in his realm.
4]Small [g] gods are the temptations and cares of this world.
Now let us restate that scripture with the definitions as we now know them
Supreme authority is great unconditional Love, the great Authority of Love is
above all temptation and the cares of this world.
Wow! Can you see how important unconditional love is? This Love forgives and forgives. [Proverbs 10:12] This Love is
peaceable, gracious and powerful. As we walk in and exhibit the Love of God, we are empowered through His Love to resist
temptation and overcome the cares of this world.
However, God’s Love is not automatically developed in us. It is something we pray to receive, practice walking in and eventually
is perfected in us. Love is a commandment we all share. We don’t always agree with other people’s viewpoints or decisions, but
whether it is your parents, your pastor or the President, we are commanded to Love each other. If Love does not count a suffered
wrong it surely does not “recount it to others” either. [Proverbs 17:9]
God’s Love formed in us even reaches across the boundaries of salvation to the lost and unsaved people of the world. Only the
Love of God shed abroad in our hearts can overcome fear, terror[ism], and the evils of this world. [1John4:18] To this end we pray
for you, that you overcome every fear through the power of His Love, and that this assurance would create in you a peaceful,
sound mind. [2Timothy1:7] In Jesus’ Name.
Love In Christ,
